ROCK TESTING

Indiana Limestone deformed in triaxial compression at increasing confining pressure from 0 to 50 MPa
Stress-strain curves from triaxial tests on Indiana Limestone, showing
transition from brittle fracture (at the low pressures) to ductile flow

OUR ROLE
While we are not equipped to conduct laboratory rock mechanics tests in-house, we have considerable hands-on experience with rock testing, and an in-depth understanding of rock deformation. We can help clients design suitable core test programs, serve as the primary interface with the testing laboratory, and provide followup analyses using the data obtained. We have developed a Geomechanics Template to aid the core selection process.
